Deborah is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been part of the mental health community for the past 20 years. She received her Bachelor’s in Family Life and Child Development from Minnesota State University, and her Master’s in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University. Deborah is trained in EMDR for treating trauma, and is a Certified Addiction Counselor II. She has worked with adolescents in residential treatment and she has worked as a therapist in inpatient facilities that specialize in addictions and mental health disorders. Her history includes being a social worker for Child Protective Services, and she has served as a therapist in a shelter for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. She has a strong background in group therapy and has spent the last couple of years conducting hundreds of groups. Deborah specializes in: Substance Abuse, Depression, Anxiety and ADHD.
Deborah enjoys spending time with her husband and three children as well as running, meditation, cooking and sports.
