An intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a highly structured treatment option that enables patients in recovery to continue with their work & family responsibilities while maintaining an intensive 3 day per week therapy regimen. In addition to offering 3 different daily times for our patients to participate in a group therapy setting we also offer individual and family therapy on an appointment basis.
What makes group therapy such an effective tool in recovery is the sense of shared purpose it evokes. Our groups share an sense of identity; creating a unified support system that extends past our counselors. This ability to interact with peers in a constructive environment offers the opportunity to both receive support from others and to give support to others.

The SMART Recovery 4-Point Program employs a variety of tools and techniques to help individuals gain independence from addiction and addictive behaviors. Participants are encouraged to learn how to use each tool and to practice the techniques as they progress — achieving lifestyle balance and leading a fulfilling and healthy life.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence based psychotherapy used to treat post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This treatment approach, which targets past experience, current triggers, and future potential challenges, results in the alleviation of presenting symptoms, a decrease or elimination of distress from the disturbing memory, improved view of the self, relief from bodily disturbance, and resolution of present and future anticipated triggers. In the broadest sense, EMDR is an integrative psychotherapy approach intended to treat psychological disorders to assist individuals in fulfilling their potential. This technique aims to achieve comprehensive treatment safely, effectively, and efficiently.
Acudetox is a holistic way to assist in treating behavioral health and substance abuse issues by utilizing five acupuncture points in the ear. Specific conditions treated include, compulsive smoking, Physical and Emotional Trauma, Anxiety Disorders including PTSD, and Substance Use Disorders. The belief behind acudetox is that each of the major systems of the body has an energy point located on the surface of the ear. By balancing the systems most commonly associated with cravings, detox, and anxiety the following benefits have been reported: feeling better, less anxiety, improved motivation, stress reduction, improved coping, sense of connectedness, and easier withdrawal from substances.
Our unique style of hypnotherapy is based on a client centered approach that treats the whole person in a relaxing setting. This system combines classical hypnotherapy with modern methods and practices that aid in minimizing withdrawl symptoms and cravings, lessen physical and mental pain fom detoxing, correct addictive behaviors, manage anxiety and depression, and overall promote sobriety longevity. Hypnotherapy can not just positively impact mental health, but simultaneously help clients heal from their addictions by digging to the root of their addictions. This paired with other program modalities like acudetox, EMDR ans SMART Recovery can significantly increase the chances of maintaing sobriety.
Alcohol and Drug Evaluations
If you need to adhere to court ordered evaluations, we offer a lcohol and drug screenings that are State of Colorado approved by the Judicial System. These assessments are completed in two (2) parts and will be completed by the Clinical Supervisor throughout treatment. baseline & random drug analysis
Conducting baseline & random drug analysis helps our counselors by providing objective information about a patients recent or current drug use prior to starting any program with Innova Recovery. This also acts as a useful tool to monitor a patients adherence throughout the duration of their specifically outlined intensive outpatient program and maintain accountability to sobriety.
